Trading volume and news was light across the U.S. markets today, ahead of the Christmas holiday.

U.S. 10-year Treasury bonds declined, while stocks rose.

The yen fell to a 6-week low against the dollar, and also lost ground versus the euro.

Crude oil rose, to close at $94.13 per barrel.

Soybeans hit a 34-year high as demand continued to increase. Corn also rose.
