Try This Simple Trick

When was the last time you saw what looked like a
good-looking setup and you watched it unfold, and watched, and watched
and...well, you know what I mean. It really never fails that these are the ones
that turn out to best the best trades of the day, right? (I mean, the trades you
don't take.) Here's a simple tactic that may help you capture some of these
"trades that got away." The next time you see a great setup, try a probe
trade with 1/2 a position only. This reduces your risk, which should also
reduce your fear, and if the trade gets stopped out, little or no damage is
done. Telling yourself that it is only a probe psychologically lessens the
burden and makes it easier to take a second entry, should you need it. Your mind
is the most important piece of software in your trading arsenal--make sure you
program it correctly.
