According to a Goldman Sachs analysis of more than 700 hedge funds, the largest net positions were in health care and technology. Investors and traders can get exposure to both sectors - as well as many others - through a variety of exchange-traded funds.

Here are 7 ETFs You Need to Know for Monday.

Top health care exchange-traded funds include the iShares Dow Jones U.S. Healthcare Sector Index Fund, IYH ( IYH | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) and the Vanguard Health Care exchange-traded fund, VHT ( VHT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating).

Fears are growing that the credit crunch is spreading to the biotechnology industry, where some see a sharp increase in the number of bankruptcies in the sector as smaller companies struggle to raise capital. Many of the larger, more stable biotechnology companies - some of which may be potential acquires - are represented in exchange-traded funds like the SPDRS S&P Biotechnology Sector ETF, XBI ( XBI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating).

Traders can trade the technology market as a whole through ETFs like the SPDRS Select Technology Sector ETF, XLK ( XLK | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). For a specific focus on the software end of the technology business, there is the iShares S&P GSTI Software Index Fund, IGV ( IGV | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating). For hedging or speculating against the technology sector, there is the ProShares UltraShort Technology ETF, REW ( REW | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating).

After more than a month of lackluster, sideways trading, the SPDRS Gold Trust exchange-traded fund, GLD ( GLD | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) soared by more than 7% late in trading on Friday. December gold futures crossed above $800 per ounce for the first time in a month.

The ETF market is the fastest growing market in the United States. According to a recent report, eight out of ten securities traded are exchange-traded funds. Want to learn how to trade them?
