(RTTNews) - Mylan Inc. (MYL | news | PowerRating | PR Charts ) on Friday announced that Mylan Pharma. Inc. has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Granisetron Hydrochloride Tablets, 1 mg. The company expects to ship this product immediately.

Mylan noted that Granisetron Hydrochloride Tablets are the generic version of Roche's Kytril Tablets. The company said that this product had US sales of about $89 million for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2007, according to IMS Health.
