Planet Organic Health Slips To Loss In Q2; Sales Rise 99%

(RTTNews) - Planet Organic Health Corp. (POH.V | news | PowerRating | PR Charts ) reported net loss for the second quarter of C$45 thousand, compared to a net income of C$537 thousand in the same quarter last year.

Sales for the second quarter grew 99% to C$27.5 million from C$13.8 million for the same period last year.

For the six-month period, net income was C$415 thousand, compared to C$935 thousand in the corresponding period prior year. Sales for the period were C$53.2 million, up from C$25.0 million in the previous year period.

The company's CFO Darren Krissie said, "Sales and EBITDA have increased with the addition of Mrs Green's in addition to both same store sales at Planet Organic Market and Mrs Green's."
