AT&T Expands Wireless And Broadband Coverage In Kentucky - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AT&T (T | news | PowerRating | PR Charts ) announced that it has invested of more than $52 million in the Kentucky network to expand wireless coverage. The company noted that it would add 40 new cell sites in the state this year and would roll out its higher-speed wireless network by the end of 2008 as part of its $52 million statewide wireless investment in 2008.

Joan Coleman, president of AT&T Kentucky said, "The company has invested $473 million from 2005 through 2007 in Kentucky's wired and wireless networks. Our significant investment throughout the past three years will have a positive impact at both the state and community levels, in addition to the benefits that our customers will receive."
