The terms of the lease provide a renewal option for an additional 10 years. Premier Exhibitions stated that the 50,000 square feet complex would include the Titanic exhibition, along with at least one themed bar and restaurant, a ''Photo Op'' on Titanic's bow by using a lifeboat to gain access, the BODIES exhibition and gift shops. The company added that opening dates would be announced when the complex neared completion.
Bruce Eskowitz, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Exhibitions, stated that the exhibitions would allow the company to develop long-term facilities that not only boosted visitors' experiences, but also enhanced overall revenue stream from this market. The company stated that it wanted to broaden its presence on the Las Vegas strip.
PRXI closed Tuesday's trade at $4.86, up $0.32 or 7.05% and in the extended trade further gained 54 cents or 11.11%.
