Nokia Currently Sees 16-17% Operating Margin In Next One To Two Years; Aims To Gain Market Share; Predicts Lower Phone Prices - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Nokia Corp. (NOK | charts | news | PowerRating) announced that it estimates total Internet services market to be approximately 100 billion euros in 2010. Commenting on its financial forecasts, the company said it currently estimates operating margin in the range of 16-17% targeted within the next one to two years, compared to previously expected from the one to two year 15% operating margin target it gave in November 2006.

The company said it anticipates to increase its market share in mobile devices in 2008 and added that it sees Its Devices & Services operating margin to be approximately 20% during the next one to two years.

Nokia said it expects the device industry to experience value growth in 2008, but expects some decline in industry Average Selling Prices or ASPs primarily reflecting the increasing impact of the emerging markets and competitive factors.
