Associated Banc-Corp Closes At New Low On Earnings

(RTTNews) - Following worse-than-expected quarterly results, Associated Banc-Corp (ASBC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) dropped to a range within the first 20 minutes of trading. for the remainder of the session the stock held in that range, closing at $15.26 down $2.14 from Friday.

The decline came on above average volume and took the stock below recent support and to a new multi-year low.

The company reported quarterly net income of $47.36 million, or $0.37 per share, compared with net income of $75.83 million, or $0.59 per share, a year ago.

Analysts projected earnings of $0.47 per share for the quarter.
