(RTTNews) - Knight Capital Group (NITE | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating) reported second quarter EPS of $0.32 Wednesday morning, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.34.

Knight Capital Group gapped down Wednesday and fell sharply in the first half hour of trade, to close lower by $2.84 at $13.72 on the highest volume of the year. The stock has been losing ground for nearly a month and closed at a 6-month low. The stock also dropped below its 200-day moving average.
