Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc reports final approval for Granisetron Hydrochloride Tablets from FDA

PR Charts -- Mylan Inc (NYSE: MYL), a generic and speciality pharmaceutical company,
said on 1 February that Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc has received final
approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its
Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Granisetron Hydrochloride
Tablets, 1 mg (base).
The company said the product will be shipped with immediate effect.
Granisetron Hydrochloride Tablets are reportedly the generic version of
Roche's Kytril Tablets, which had U.S. sales of around USD89m for the
12 months ending 30 September 2007, according to IMS Health.
