Charts -- China's Internet engine company Baidu.com Inc. (BIDU.NASDQ) has just launched an on-line anti-virus product Baidu Security Center offering free service. The product is the first of this kind in China.

Baidu aims to enable customers to savor the Internet without much worry on the cyber safety.

This product allows customers to scan and kill virus through logging in http://an.baidu.com freely without limits on frequency and time.

Baidu also cooperates with domestic professional anti-virus service provider Kingsoft Corporation Limited on technical issues, showing Baidu's prudence to step into Internet security service market.

An official from Baidu said that Netizens and the Internet industry are plagued by indulged computer virus and spywares, with 50 million computers attacked by virus each year in China.
