The plant is being established to develop interior and exterior plastic automotive components for the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi, and is set to begin production in 2010.
The plant will invest approximately $19 million into its establishment. By 2010, it plans to employ 120 employees with sales of $31 million. The 103,300 square feet facility is located on 14.27 acres of land just off highway 55.
Haley Barbour, governor of Mississippi, said: "This is great news for Batesville and the entire state as Mississippi's standing in the automotive manufacturing sector continues to grow. I am very pleased this outstanding company is investing and creating new jobs in Mississippi."
