Northwest Airlines Teams with PayPal to Offer Cash Back

EAGAN, Minn., Mar 20, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- PYPL | news | PowerRating | PR Charts -- Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA | news | PowerRating | PR Charts ) today announced it is offering cash back into customer PayPal accounts when they purchase a ticket at www.nwa.com using PayPal for payment.

PayPal is offering $50 USD cash back into customer PayPal accounts when they purchase tickets of $250 or more by March 27, 2008. Travel must take place between April 1 and June 14, 2008, and tickets must be purchased at www.nwa.com.

This is an extension of Northwest Airlines' partnership with PayPal. Last year, Northwest Airlines became the first airline to work with the on-line payment system.

With more than 141 million accounts, PayPal is a global leader in online payment solutions that allows a safer, easier way to pay for items and services online. With PayPal, Northwest customers can pay for tickets using debit cards, bank accounts, stored balances, or credit cards through their individual PayPal accounts.
