The hotel is opened by the well-known hospitality provider Accor (EPA: AC) with its luxury hotel brand of Sofitel, in cooperation with Wanda Group, a well-known private real estate company in China.
It is the fourth round of cooperation between the two companies in the hotel field in the country. They have set up three Sofitel Wanda hotels in Beijing, the southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu, and the northeastern Chinese city of Harbin.
These years, the Chinese luxury hotel sector has been seeing a steady growth. International hotel giants like Jumeirah Group from Dubai and Langham Hotels International from Hong Kong have announced their expansion plans in the country.
On the other hand, many economy hotel operators in China believe that a bubble has come up in the country's economy hotel sector.
