Prior to joining Limco, Covey served as a mergers and acquisitions consultant for IT Capital, a private venture capital firm based in Los Angeles. Before that, she held various executive positions with Syntroleum Corp. in Tulsa.
She began her career as an accounting manager for AGC Manufacturing Services Inc. in Broken Arrow.
A native of Broken Arrow, Covey graduated from Broken ArrowSenior High School. She earned her bachelor of art's degree in business administration from Drury University, and her master's of science degree in management from Southern Nazarene University.
She also completed the HarvardBusiness School's Executive Management Program in finance, and is a certified public accountant.
Covey is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, the University of Tulsa's Friends of Finance, and is a past cochair for Easter Seals of Tulsa.
Carla and her husband, Michael Covey -- an attorney -- have a 16-monthold daughter Reese.
Limco-Piedmont
provides maintenance, repair and overhaul, or MRO, services and parts supply services to the aerospace industry. It's CEO, Shaul Menachem, said Covey "will play a key role in the execution of our next phase of growth."
"Her public company experience, coupled with her strong corporate finance and management acumen, will be a tremendous asset for our company and our shareholders," he said.
