The airline company, whose pilots returned some Yunnan-started flights without landing at destinations at the end of March 2008, was punished not to operate the Kunming-Xishuangbanna and the Kunming-Dali round flights from May 4, replaced by other airline companies.
However, the listed airline continues operating the fights and accepting ticket orders, shows information from ctrip.com, a leading online travel service provider in the country.
If the listed airline, which solely operates the flight between Xishuangbanna and Lijiang, two most popular tourists' destinations in the province, is deprived of the right to fly the Kunming-Xishuangbanna flight, there will be no aircrafts for the hot travel spots, said He Jinri, deputy director of the Department of Air Transportation of General Administration of Civil Aviation.
