NOTICE TEXT: Department of the Army Army Contracting Agency, North Region ACA, Aberdeen Proving Ground This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-08-T-0387. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-24. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333411 and the Business Size Standard is 500. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Description of Requirement: CLIN0001 1H x 2W Chemical Warfare Air Filter Unit (Bag in / Bag Out Housing), 1200cfm with the following characteristics: 12 & 14 ga T304 Stainless steel construction with #2-B finish. Housing shall be factory tested by the pressure decay method in accordance with ASME N510-1995 to 10 inches water gauge as specified in ASME N509-1995, Table 4-4. Inlet 18 diamater buble tight damper with manual actuator. Inlet Transition. 1st Filter Prefilter section for (2) 24x24x6 nominal size filters. 2nd Filter HEPA filter section for (2) 24x24x11 actual size gasket seal HEPA filters with upstream seal. 3rd Filter Carbon/absorber section for (2) 24x24x18 actual size gasket seal carbon absorbers with upstream seal. 4th Filter Carbon/absorber section for (2) 24x24x18 actual size gasket seal carbon adsorbers with upstream seal. 5th Filter HEPA filter section for (2) 24x24x11 -1/2 actual size gasket seal HEPA filters with upstream seal. Outlet transition. Outlet 9 diameter bubble tight damper with manual actuator. Fan Blower 208 or 480 VAC, 30, 60 hz. Electrical Panel enclosure shall be rated NEMA 4x and shall be mounted to the filter housing train. Mounting base with dual U channel construction. Swivel door latches/ Filler retrieval rods. Six different pressure gauges to be installed with inch NPT coupling and 300 series stainless steel tubing. DOP/Freon test Ports one on top of the filtration unit; Two additional DOP-freon test ports shall be rpovided for field installation into the ductwork. Chemical sample ports shall be located on each side of the filter housing. Bag kits and straps; Inlet duct connection 18 round 24 length. Maintenance and parts manual. QTY 1 EA Acceptance and Inspection shall be at Destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, 21005. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information provided solely by the vendor.
