The company said that its online sales have grown exponentially since 2001, with online sales on average growing over 50% each year and nearly reaching USD400m in 2007.
Over 20% of all Papa John's sales come online or via text.
The company, at its current pace and growth rate, expects that it will take it under three years to achieve the next USD1bn of sales.
Papa Johns launched online ordering in 2001 at http://www.papajohns.com, and has reportedly invested over USD15m in its online ordering technology.
