Chinese students granted Vietnamese-language certificates

Hanoi, May 23, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- -- ? Ninety-six students from the Oriental Foreign Language Institute from Guangxi , China , received commercial Vietnamese language certificates from the National Economics University on May 23.

The students passed a ten-month course, with six Vietnamese-language and four economics subjects, at the university in Hanoi . Earlier, they has two years of training in commercial Vietnamese-language in China .

This was the first commercial Vietnamese-language course for Chinese students in Vietnam . The second one is scheduled to be opened in mid-July for about 100 Chinese students.

Addressing the ceremony, officials from the National Economics University and the Oriental Foreign Language Institute said teaching Chinese students Vietnamese opened new prospects for both countries and was in line with current commercial cooperation.
