Vietnamese company helps Lao province build classrooms

Vientiane, May 27, 2008 (Asia Pulse Data Source via COMTEX) -- -- ? Vietnam ?s Green Indochina Development Joint Stock Company (GID) has granted 40,000 USD to build classrooms in a secondary school in Laos ?s southern Attapeu province.

GID General Director Nguyen Van Phong presented the sum to Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Attapeu province, Sinai Mienglavan, on May 27.

The company, which operates in investment, finance, banking, architecture and consultancy, has a representative office in Vientiane .

GID has invested in mining, industrial crop growing and tourist services in Laos.
