DG FastChannel Acquires Vyvx Advertising Service Operations

Dublin, Jun 10, 2008 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- LVLT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- DG FastChannel, a provider of digital media services to the advertising and broadcast industries, announced that it completed its acquisition of the Vyvx advertising services business from Level 3 Communications, for $129 million in cash, subject to certain adjustments.

Vyvx advertising services business includes distribution, post production and customer service operations. DG FastChannel has assumed approximately 110 full time Vyvx employees and regional operating offices in New York, Chicago, Delaware, Memphis, and Los Angeles.

In addition, DG FastChannel said it has gained a stand-alone network operations center (NOC) in Tulsa, which will provide a redundant backup facility to the Company s two other NOC s in Dallas and Atlanta.
