According to the company, video management can be streamlined to make it a central part of an organisations overall web strategy by using Vignette's Video Services and Rich Media Services. Designed to expand viewer time spent on site, the new products improve customer engagement and drive revenues using video as an important source of site content.

Vignette Video Services is a hosted video management solution that enables videos to be uploaded, transcoded and delivered. Vignette Rich Media Services includes a video module that integrates with Vignette Content Management, enabling the management of workflow and publishing of video and other web content from one interface. Both products have a core video processing platform and include a flash based player that can identify and share any part of a video which can be embedded on any site.
