Jun 13, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- 843068Z | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- NetSuite Inc (NYSE:N), which, through its subsidiaries, provides an on-demand suite of integrated business management software services to small and medium sized businesses, released yesterday (12 June) a new vertical suite for manufacturing companies. This release improves the NetSuite Wholesale / Distribution Edition launched in April 2006 and is a progression of the company's role in delivering Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business suites that address the requirements of vertical industries.

Included in the release is new functionalities for Assembly, Work Order and Bill of Materials.

The company, which has directed the release at the light manufacturing sector, believes it is an example of how its SaaS-based business management technology has progressed to address more complex processes in industries dominated by on-premise vendors such as SAP.
