WCI Communities forms committee to review alternative restructuring proposals

SAN FRANCISCO, Jun 14, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- WCI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- WCI Communities Inc. said late Friday it has formed a special board committee to review and evaluate alternative restructuring proposals that the homebuilder may receive from potential investors.

The Bonita Springs, Fla.-based company previously said it has retained Lazard Freres & Co. as its financial advisor to assist in developing restructuring alternatives.

Shares of WCI closed at $1.56. Gabriel Madway gm
