Omniture Genesis to employ 'searchandising' strategy for Overstock.com

PowerRating -- Omniture Inc (NasdaqGM:OMTR), which provides online optimisation

business initiatives, said on 19 June that Overstock.com is using
solutions to utilise on-site search terms, user-generated product
reviews and analytics for improving product merchandising, from
Bazaarvoice, Mercado and Omniture through Omniture Genesis.
Overstock feeds data from Omniture SiteCatalyst into Mercado via
Omniture Genesis, Mercado then uses the informatia system that
customers can use while selecting products to purchase. Omniture
Genesis is a solution that automates the integration of marketing
applications and provides a single platform for customers to measure
marketing results and buy.
Bazaarvoice offers outsourced technology, services, analytics for
companies to improve the online shopping experience, which will
hopefully results in sales. Mercado is an eCommerce solution provider,
site search & navigation, merchandising and storefront solutions.
