MediaPointe Ensemble is a server that stores and streams video files. Ensemble holds thousands of hours of media content and recorded video including those made by Tandberg's Content Server; users can search on keywords and access files over a LAN, WAN or Intranet.
Aesop is a device designed to store digital video files for access. When the Aesop connects to MediaPointe's DMR (Digital Media Recorder) 210e, users can upload files that can be searched, retrieved and viewed via the network or its MediaPointe DVP200, the company said.
MediaPointe's Digital Media Decoder (DMD) 200 and Digital Video Player (DVP) 200 support MPEG-4 part 10 and play content originating from MediaPointe's Digital Network Streamer (DNS) 210e. The DMD200 plays live content only; the DVP200 plays live or recorded content, the company said.
MediaPointe's DNS210e is a file streamer designed to deliver full-motion video, CD-quality stereo audio and graphics in either Unicast or Multicast, up to 30 frames per second.
MediaPointe's VIDi2 and VIDi4 blade-based digital video encoders are designed to work in conjunction with its VIDi2d and VIDi4d decoders, the company said. The VIDi2 encodes in MPEG-2 and the VIDi4 encodes in MPEG-4; the blades can be placed in a two-or seventeen-slot chassis.
