PowerRating -- Warner Chilcott Limited (NasdaqGS:WCRX) declared on 23 June that the
speciality pharmaceutical company has received approval from the US
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a 150mg strength of DORYX
(doxycycline hyclate) Delayed-Release Tablets.
DORYX Delayed-Release Tablets are a tetracycline-class oral antibiotic
indicated for adjunctive treatment of severe acne.
The company stated that the 150mg tablet strength is in addition to the
existing DORYX Delayed-Release Tablets franchise of 100mg and 75mg. It
will continue to offer DORYX in 75mg and 100mg strengths.
