TripIt Adds Event Tickets to Travel Itineraries

Travelers can now book events in advance, such as dinner and a show, a sporting event, or even family night at the movies, and simply forward the confirmation emails to plans@tripit.com to have them automatically added to their TripIt itinerary.

TripIt is the only travel site that automatically reads confirmation emails from many of the top ticketing websites, including Tickets.com, TicketMaster, TicketWeb, StubHub, Broadway.com, LasVegas.com, Vegas.com, Fandango, Eventful and Eventbrite.

In addition, a recent TIA survey showed that more than 25% of people now purchase event tickets online.
