TOKYO, Jun 25, 2008 (Asia In Focus via COMTEX) -- JPCLF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Portable music player manufacturer IRIVER JAPAN CO. will next month begin selling a new product that allows users to listen to music while swimming. The company plans to import the Aquabeat, which is guaranteed to work in waters as deep as 3 meters.

* Designed by British swimwear maker SPEEDO, the device is about half the size of a typical mobile phone and will be available in black, lime and pink.

* It is attached to the rubber part of goggles and is listened to via waterproof earphones.
