RBS's unit Citizens Financial Group to sell 18 US branches

LONDON, Jun 25, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- CNFL | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Royal Bank of Scotland Plc. said that its unit Citizens Financial Group has sold 18 small rural branches in upstate New York, with gross assets of $631 million.

The branches have been sold to Community Bank Systems Inc, RBS said in a statement.
