David Downing named chief marketing officer of NetSuite Inc

Jun 27, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- 843068Z | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- NetSuite Inc (NYSE: N), which provides an on-demand suite of integrated business management software services to small and medium sized businesses, disclosed on 26 June that NetSuite's new chief marketing officer is David Downing. In this new position Dowing will be responsible for the company's global marketing initiatives; creating awareness and adoption of its Accounting/ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and Ecommerce software suites; and taking initiatives to move the company up to meet the needs of mid-market enterprises. Downing has been employed at enterprise software organisations such as Adobe, Oracle, Informatica and SAP. In his most recent position he was VP of Marketing at MetaLINCS, which was acquired by Seagate Technology in December 2007.
