FBR Capital Markets strengthens equity research group

Jun 30, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- FBCM | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- FBR Capital Markets has named Stephen Chick and Patrick Scholes as the new senior vice president and vice president, respectively, of the firm's equity research group.

Mr Chick has served as a research analyst in the consumer area having held positions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities and JP Morgan Securities.

Mr Scholes has most recently served as the lead lodging analyst at JP Morgan Securities having held prior positions at Harris Nesbitt, Thomas Weisel, AXA Advisors and Hyatt Hotels.
