SAIC gets $13M financial management pact from Defense Finance & Accounting Svc

BOSTON, Jun 30, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- SAI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- SAIC Inc. said Monday it received a support contract from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, or DFAS.

The pact to support the financial management education and training program has a one-year base with four one-year options and a value of more than $13 million if all options are exercised.

Under the terms of the contract, SAIC will design, develop, maintain and instruct a customized finance management education and training curriculum to support the learning needs of the DFAS and Department of Defense management work force.

Shares of SAIC, a San Diego-based technical services company, closed Friday at $21.12. Greg Saulnier gs/jw
