DJ India's Hindustan Zinc Cuts Lead Price By 2.5%;Zinc Unchanged

MUMBAI, Jul 03, 2008 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- HDZLF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (500188.BY) has lowered its lead price by INR2,200 a metric ton or 2.5% to INR87,000/ton, effective immediately, the company said Thursday.

The company left its zinc price unchanged at INR90,300/ton.

No reasons were given for the reduction in the price of its lead.

Hindustan Zinc is a unit of London-listed Vedanta Resources PLC (VED.LN).
