Charter Launches High-Speed Internet in Michigan

MEADVILLE, Pa., Jul 03, 2008 (ASCRIBE NEWS via COMTEX) -- CHTR | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Charter Communications announced that it is launching its Charter High-Speed Internet Max service, with download speeds of up to 16 megabits per second (16 Mbps).

Charter High-Speed Internet Max is available throughout most of Charter's Michigan service area.

Charter High-Speed Internet Max is the premium tier of service for Charter customers and is up to 9x faster than DSL and 270x as fast as dial-up. Charter also offers Charter High-Speed Plus, with download speeds up to 10 Mbps, and Charter High-Speed Internet, with download speeds up to 5 Mbps.
