ICO announces filing of registration with SEC

Jul 04, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ICOHA | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Limited (Nasdaq:ICOG), a satellite communications company, announced on Thursday (3 July) that the company has filed a 'shelf' registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This shelf registration statement was reportedly filed in connection with the terms and conditions of ICO's private placement of Class A common stock, which was completed last month.

The company said that, in addition to the registration of the resale of 7,574,416 shares of Class A common stock issued in the private placement, the registration statement registers a variety of ICO equity and debt securities, of up to USD400m.

These USD400m of securities may be sold in the future by ICO or certain of its other stockholders.
