Net Insight AB receives framework contract from Swedish broadcasting infrastructure operator Teracom

Jul 04, 2008 (NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT via COMTEX) -- NGHTF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Swedish broadcast and media network solutions provider Net Insight AB (OMX Stockholm: NETI B) said on Friday (4 July) that it has won a framework contract for its Nimbra equipment from the Swedish broadcasting infrastructure operator Teracom.

Net Insight has also received a first firm order for as part of Teracom's deployment of a core network interconnecting its media contribution networks in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo. The network is based on Net Insight's Nimbra 680 and the eight-port Video Access Module.

The equipment will be delivered in the third quarter.

No financial details were disclosed.

Net Insight, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides transport solutions for broadcast, media, IPTV and digital terrestrial TV networks. The company has some 100 employees and reported net sales of SEK229m in 2007.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.85 Swedish kronor (SEK).
