WPP Group says unit buys U.S.-based Designkitchen for undisclosed amount

LONDON, Jul 07, 2008 (Thomson Financial via COMTEX) -- WPPGY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Advertising company WPP Group Plc. said its wholly-owned operating company Wunderman bought U.S.-based digital and interactive agency Designkitchen for an undisclosed amount.

Designkitchen's unaudited revenues for the year ended Dec. 31, 2007 were $7.5 million with gross assets at the same date of $2.7 million, the group said.
