The LDW systems reportedly use video camera technology to monitor the road while the vehicle is in motion and alert the driver when the vehicle is accidentally veering out of the driving lane or running off the road.
Cognex developed the LDW product for the heavy truck market, while the technology will be delivered to the market through Takata.
