Plans to film a Smithfield Foods commercial with Deen, a Food Network celebrity, on Smithfield's historic Main Street were postponed.
Deen was due to be in town Wednesday and Friday to film a commercial that would air nationally, tourism director Judy Winslow said.
But the town found out late Monday that scheduling conflicts would postpone filming, Town Manager Peter Stephenson said.
