That's the word from Harley spokeswoman Rebecca Bortner after the museum's grand opening weekend at 6th and W. Canal streets.
"We've just been so excited about launching the museum that to finally get the chance to bring people in, it was really overwhelming," Bortner said. "Seeing the smiles on people's faces as they walked through the museum was the reward for all of us."
Harley did not say how many bought tickets for the museum or parked bikes on the grounds, where live entertainment was provided. Bortner said "several thousands" filled the 20-acre campus.
Potawatomi Bingo Casino saw an increase in business during the weekend, a spokeswoman said.
Business can jump, she said, whenever events like the museum opening or the Brewers' home stand bring people to the Menomonee Valley. The valley is home to the museum, casino and Miller Park.
