OMAHA, Neb., Jul 15, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FRPT | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- 21st Century Systems, Inc. (21CSI) announced today that it has retained the services of The March Group, an investment bank with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in the marketing, negotiation and sale of privately held mid-size businesses. The March Group provides a full spectrum of investment banking and consulting services designed to help entrepreneurs obtain financing in all stages of their company's development and will help 21CSI identify and enlist potential purchasers of its unique, rapidly expanding Force Protection Line (FPL) which provides numerous applications for both land and maritime surveillance.

The Force Protection Line includes products such as High Resolution Situational Awareness (HiRSA(TM)), an intelligent command and control program that provides anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) operators with a persistent surveillance capability and a user-defined operating picture. Originally deployed with Marines in Iraq, HiRSA technology's was recently selected to participate in a groundbreaking program to help secure the Jordanian border and demonstrated as a powerful, easy-to-operate solution for potential use in U.S. border security. FPL's maritime applications are versatile and deployable in a number of realms. SentinelNet(TM), an intelligent agent-based AT/FP decision support tool, is used for protecting naval assets in oversea ports and coastline expeditionary operations. 21CSI is also developing the integration software for the US Navy's Integrated Swimmer Defense (ISD) project which seeks to protect naval assets from single or small group of swimmers which are one of the most difficult threats to detect and defend against.

By enlisting the services of The March Group, 21CSI is pursuing a business plan that was launched last year. Commenting on the effort, Jeffrey Hicks, Chairman and CEO of 21CSI, said, "Our unique business model is to serve as a creator and incubator for versatile technologies that, when mature, have broad application in both the defense and commercial fields. Revenue from the sale will allow 21CSI to further invest in our other product lines, thus accelerating and expanding our total technology reach. I am confident that The March Group will identify a broad range of potential purchasers and investors who would benefit greatly from the acquisition of our FPL technologies."

21CSI develops decision support software to help operators manage complex, high-stress, rapidly changing environments through sound, computer-assisted data monitoring and decision making. Intelligent agents embedded in the systems enable the software to adapt, respond, and learn from individual users in a variety of different situations. Find us on the web at http://www.21CSI.com.
