Team Mannatech Athlete Wins World Titles and Sets World Record at U.S. Open World ISKA Martial Arts Tournament

After competing for the world titles in power wood kicking and power concrete, Townsend broke his forearm during his creative routine. He pushed through the pain of his injury to win the creative division and break a world record in the combat board breaking division. Townsend set the new world record by breaking 36 boards (the previous record was 27 boards).

In addition to losing the use of his right eye as a child, Townsend battled back from a severed Achilles tendon in 2006.
