Dividend declared by Occidental Petroleum Corporation board

Jul 18, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- OXY | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- The board of directors of Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY), an oil and gas exploration and production company, reported on 17 July a regular quarterly dividend of USD0.32 per share on common stock.

The dividend is payable on 15 October 2008 to stockholders of record on 10 September 2008. The dividend raises the current annual rate to USD1.28 per share from the previous annual rate of USD1.00 per share.
