Toshiba includes Symantec's Norton 360 and Internet Security in laptops

Jul 18, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- SYMC | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- Symantec, a developer of Norton security software, has announced that Toshiba, a digital products division has included Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security 2008 on all of its laptop computers.

The Norton Internet Security 2008 is a complete security solution that runs quietly in the background to detect and block today's complex online threats. Norton 360 combines complete security with online and local backup, as well as tune-up in an easy to use all-in-one solution. Both Norton solutions include spyware and identity protection which protects consumers when they buy, bank, or browse online.

Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security will ship on all Toshiba laptop models including Satellite, Satellite Pro, Tecra, Qosmio and Portege in North and South America, with the exception of Brazil.
