Hackett stock has defied the tanking market so far this year. Shares are up more than 30% in 2008 and now trade above 6. This month, the stock joined the Russell 3000 Index of the 3,000 largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. IBD gives the stock a Relative Strength Rating of 98, meaning it's performed among the top 2% of stocks over the past 12 months.
