Revenues for the quarter totalled USD55.2m. a 47.9% increase over USD37.3m in the second quarter of 2007 and a 17% increase over USD47.2m in the immediately preceding first quarter of 2008.
For the first half of 2008 revenues were USD104.4m, as compared with USD71.3m in the first half of the prior fiscal year.
GAAP net income for the quarter was USD15.5m or USD0.42 per basic share and USD0.40 per diluted share. This was in comparison with a net income of USD2.9m or USD0.10 per basic share and USD0.09 per diluted share in the corresponding quarter of the prior year.
For the first half of the fiscal year net income was USD19.7m or USD0.53 per basic share and USD0.51 per diluted share, as compared with net income of USD5.5m or USD0.20 and USD0.18 per basic and diluted share, respectively, in the corresponding period of the prior year.
The company had cash and cash investments of USD108m at the end of the quarter.
