General Mills introduces new Yoplait Light yogurt flavors

Jul 22, 2008 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- GIS | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating -- General Mills has expanded its Yoplait Light brand to include three new cake-inspired yogurt flavors.

According to the company, these yogurts, which deliver sweet cake flavors and are fat-free, are available in three flavors - strawberry shortcake, raspberry cheesecake, and pineapple upside-down cake.

Susanne Prucha at Yoplait Marketing said: "No matter how you slice it, the rich and creamy flavors of Yoplait Light will help health-conscious consumers enjoy everyday indulgences without the guilt. Here's proof that it is possible to have your cake and eat it, too!"

The new Yoplait Light cake-inspired flavors will be available throughout the US from August 2008.
