According to the company, the Kodak i1420 processes up to 60 pages per minute, handles virtually all document sizes and shapes, and features the company's Perfect Page imaging technology to ensure quality scanning.
In June 2008, all providers of affordable housing in the Scottish Highlands introduced a common housing application form and process to simplify the process of handling the requests for accommodation. The Kodak scanner is used by the Allocation Team, the group responsible for assessing applications, which has made the process of administering the waiting list faster.
In addition, the society is reportedly using ScanLink document management software from DataImage Software Ltd to handle all scanned paperwork associated with its property portfolio.
The solution was sold by Scotland-based reseller, Solution X. No financial details were disclosed.
